3. Target Luke Littler G1 – the player model with real technical merit

Think what you like about the hype, but the Luke Littler G1 darts are technically a proper bit of kit. The mix of different grip zones, Pixel and Nano Grip gives the dart a very clear feel in the hand.
Will you hit 180s like Luke with them? No idea. But your gear will be a lot less of an excuse.
What hardly any shop tells you properly: straight out of the box, the darts often come with shorter points than the ones Luke uses on TV. He plays longer Swiss Points to create more room in the treble bed. So if you want the real Littler feel, keep the longer points in mind too.

Why Target is different technically
Target is not the brand that simply turns a barrel, slaps a logo on it and calls it a day. With Target, it is often about systems: Swiss Point, Pixel Grip, Nano Grip, special milling, different grip zones and plenty of little technical toys.
That can be brilliant if you know what you need. But it can also do your head in if you just buy because a pro is using it on stage.
Swiss Point is one of Target’s biggest strengths for me. You can change steel points quickly, test different lengths and see how your dart behaves in the board. If you practise seriously, it is not just a gimmick, it is genuinely practical.
Grip is the other part of the decision. Target makes barrels that can feel very technical. But that only helps if your fingers actually sit in the right place. If you grip the dart differently from the pro, the prettiest Pixel Grip in the world will not magically fix your throw.
